DESCRIPTION:Dear Hydropower Colleagues\, \n\n\n\nTake the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of experts and practitioners at the \n\n\n\n“Digitalisation in Hydropower 2022 – Focus on Digital Data Management” \n\n\n\non 17. /18. November 2022 in Vienna\, Austria \n\n\n\nThe conference offers participants a comprehensive overview of all topics regarding digitalisation in hydropower and provides a unique platform for the transfer of knowledge\, the exchange of experiences as well as establishing contacts with operators\, project developers\, investors\, energy providers\, scientists\, research institutes and the industry. \n\n\n\nTake a look at our programme with lecture summaries and register now here. \n\n\n\nMain topics of the vgbe/VERBUND Expert Event \n\n\n\nEnhanced digital controls can contribute to improving the performance of hydropower fleets\, plants and equipment by reducing costs and optimising asset management. Digital control systems can also play a major role in improving decision-making and supporting operations to work more efficiently. The focus of these events was set on chances and opportunities in developing and implementing digital solutions. The most recent two vgbe energy/VERBUND Expert Events on “Digitalisation in Hydropower” in 2020 and 2021 were carried out fully digital. More than 15 speakers again provided a comprehensive overview of digitalisation in hydropower\, dealing mainly with the results of newly developed and implemented innovative digital measures\, products and tools.
