The purpose is to discuss opportunities and barriers affectinghydropower deployment in the framework of the energy transition consideringuncertainties regarding the energy crisis\, climate change and the market as well asregulation conditions. \n\n\n\nWhy attend? \n\n\n\n– Find out more about the role of hydropower and energy storage in the energytransition and the impact that 2025-2029 EU legislative cycle will have on it. \n\n\n\n– Learn about best practice in hydropower deployment with reference toflexibility\, social and environmental requirements\, and climate change. \n\n\n\n– Join the discussion about cooperation with other ETIPs/sectors within the SETPlan on approaches to ensure energy system integration and a flexible safeenergy supply. \n\n\n\n– Get informed about the next steps of ETIP HYDROPOWER towards “Unifyingthe voices of hydropower in Europe” and on the output of its thematic WorkingGroups. \n\n\n\nTarget audience: the conference will gather participants\, representing widestakeholder groups in the hydropower sector and relevant EU decision-makers.
